THE COLORADO SETH CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

(CSCC)

MORGAN McKAY MorganMck.jpg went to her first Seth Conference in 1998 and continued every year after that going with her mother, Dawn McKay.Ê She became an official committee member to the Colorado Seth Conference in 2004.Ê Putting on the best conference possible has become her yearly passion ever since.
Ê Morgan was raised in a unique situation with her mother, aunt, and grandfather all involved with the Seth Material and later involved with The Teachings of Abraham.Ê From a very young age she began to believe she creates her own reality which changed her entire life.Ê She immersed herself in all things metaphysical.Ê She read anything metaphysical she could get her hands on including all 20 Seth books, Ask and It is Given (the teachings of Abraham), the series of books by Carlos Castaneda, books by Lynda Dahl, Nancy Ashley, Notes from the Universe by Mike Dooley, and many more.Ê She realized that although she may follow many pathsÊin life, pursue many different careers - sharing the information that people create their own reality was her life's purpose and passion.
ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"True creativity comes from enjoying the moments, which then fulfill themselves, and a part of the creative process is indeed the art of relaxation, the letting go, for that triggers magical activity."
— Seth: The Magical Approach, Session 1.
DAWN McKAY DawnM.jpg has a bachelor degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from The University of Denver.Ê Her involvement with the Seth material began over 13 years ago when it seemed as if everything in her life was falling apart.Ê She rediscovered Seth Speaks on her bookshelf.Ê "Seth's message that you create your own reality and that there are no victims deeply resonated with me and I passionately began to practice what I was reading."Ê What followed was the creation of Oblio's Pizzeria - a popular neighborhood restaurant that her family owned for nearly 10 years.

Ê ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"Excellence!Ê There are no standards but your own.Ê You cannot compare yourself against others.Ê For your own abilities are like no others, and dimensions of your own greatness cannot fit in the standards of another.Ê But you know what excellence means within yourself, and it means truth to the heart of yourself."
— Watkins: Conversations With Seth, Vol. One, App. 4
LORETTA GILBERT LorettaG.jpg
I grew up on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. As a child I lived and played in the sacredness of creation and felt the connectedness of ALL THAT IS. My beliefs were shaken and challenged when I left the reservation for the big city of Denver. It was at this turn in my life that I met Dr Helen Walker and began studying at the Truth Center. ÊÊI studied a verity of metaphysical teachings and eventually found that the Seth material was woven in to most of the classes that Dr Helen taught. I had tried several churches Ð but this was home. The Seth Committee is family.
I believe that the world that we have created is enchanting; we place a rainbow in the sky and see beauty; we feel a snow flake on our face and feel joy. We experience. We create. The largest and the smallest. ÊMy favorite Seth Quote is what I believe and how I try to live my life. ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"All of creation is sacred and alive, each part connected to each other part, and each communicating in a creative cooperative commerce in which the smallest and the largest are equally involved."
— Jane Roberts: Oversoul Seven and the Museum
of Time, page 128.

I guess, looking back, IÕve always been interested in strangeness. But from an early age I also thought science would eventually have the answers. My parents sent me to church but were not churchgoers themselves. In church I often wanted to ask questions. It seemed that this was not acceptable. ÊÊI didnÕt know anyone who was interested in the Big Questions Ð so, I put my interests in the direction of science. I also liked art and design.Ê In College I studied architecture, engineering and city planning. ÊAt mid-life I came across books about Edgar Cayce and was engaged. Shortly after that I found the Seth Material and thought: "When the world finds out about thisÉ. Shazam!"Ê I have discovered along the way that thereÕs always a next step.Ê To paraphrase Seth: Life on Earth is a School. ÊThere is help Ð if you allow. I found Helen Walker and the Truth Center where Seth was spoken. I find reflections of the Seth Material In all manner of writings Ð and life. ItÕs my Benchmark.
ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
Ê — (from my top 40)
"Éeach individual is involved in an art of living. There are different themes, instruments, melodies Ð but existence, like great art, cannot be confined to simple definitions."
— Seth: The Unknown Reality, Vol. 2, Session 735

From a career as an aerospace engineer in the Air Force and Aerospace industry, I approached metaphysics first through the Edgar Cayee readings, then graduated to the Seth Material. It was like "I had come home!" It has taken me years of re-reading and studying the material to fully comprehend and appreciate it.
We have attended Seth Conferences around the country . . . Oregon, Washington, Florida, Maine . . . Living with the Seth material just gets better all of the time.
The Colorado Seth Conference Committee was the best thing to ever happen to me.

ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"The universe is of good intent." It is automatically predisposed, again, toward the creation of "good" events. I put the word "good" in quotes for now because of your misconceptions about the nature of good and evil É
— Seth: The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, Session 825
NANCY WALKER NancyWkr.jpg
Nancy grew up in a metaphysical household and is a long time Seth reader.Ê She helped with many of Rocky Mountain Seth Conferences, and has been on the committee for numerous other conferences: SNI "SethNet" conferences (Seaside, New Haven and Elmira), New World View conference (San Diego), Seth West conference (Granlibakken) and co-created "Ongoing Conversations" with Bettie Ritchie Kielty.
ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"The inner senses are not important because they release clairvoyant or telepathic abilities, but because they reveal to us our own independence from physical matter, and let us recognize our unique, individual multidimensional identity.Ê Properly utilized, they also show us the miracle of physical existence and our place in it.Ê We can live a wiser, more productive, happier physical life because we begin to understand why we are here, individually and as a people."
— Jane Roberts: Psychic Politics

We joyfully welcome our newest committee member,
whom many of our conference attendees will appreciate.
DANA BEARDSHEAR DanaB, As the "newest kid on the block" of the committee I have much to learn about the Seth material. I have studied and participated in metaphysical and consciousness raising materials and activities for over 30 years, but direct experience with the Seth material did not occur until after I came to my first conference. My participation in the Seth Conference and community was absolutely a framework two occurrence (as are most experiences). When I attended that first conference I was in a place of searching on several important levels. My attendance at that first conference and subsequent conferences has contributed greatly to "finding my way" in how I choose to express myself with food and nurturing others Ð my two favorite activities! I am thrilled to be among such wise and dedicated Sethians, particularly on the committee. As I become more and more connected to myself I have come to know that my life is richer for the experience I receive from both the Seth material and the Sethian community I look forward to participating both on the committee and in the conference for the sheer joy and pleasure that it will bring to my life as well as to others.

ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
" ÉYou are a multidimensional personality. Trust in the miracle of your own being. Make no divisions between the physical and spiritual in your lifetimes, for the spiritual speaks with a physical voice and the corporeal body is the creation of the spirit.
Do not place the words of gurus, ministers, priests, scientists, psychologists, friends — or my words — higher than the feelings of your own being. You can learn much from others, but the deepest knowledge must come from within yourself. Your own consciousness is embarked upon a reality that basically can be experienced by no other, that is unique and untranslatable, with its own meaning, following its own paths of becoming."
— Seth: The Nature of Personal Reality, Session 677

Carol "Graduated" to the spirit realm on 3 January 2010.
___ She is now our Spiritual Guide for The Commitee.
CAROL FUNK CarolFnk.jpg, a longtime Seth reader found the Seth material in the early 1970s, through a Cayce Search for God group. Over the years, these ideas have been life changing for me and have immeasurably enriched my world.
I have learned to value (and try to practice) creativity, open-mindedness, self value and respect, and, most of all, the beauty of life and the world.
I love the material, the people, and the committee, which is truly another family for us. Helping to create the conference is a loving venture of value fulfillment and FUN!

ÊFavorite Seth Quote:
"It is a gift, a boon, an exquisite pleasure, to become physically alive on your functioning planet, couched securely within your dusk and dawn, your existence supported by the seasons and by an overall operation of spontaneous order."
Cited in front matter of Dreams, Evolution, and Value
Fulfillment, Vol.I, From Session 929. November 1980.
A remberance of Carol was assembled for her memorial service.
Chris Colvard, Jim and Carol's nephew and Dana Beardshear's son, made that into a video for us:
